Far and away

We get tired of our regular routines.
The month of March is especially tiring.
We remained hopeful all winter for it to end, and March shows up, and it seems to bring with it our deliverance from the harsh winter. But as the days keep rolling through March, we feel stuck, uncomfortable, depressed, excepting the warmth to gradually wrap our bodies and souls. We keep expecting. We keep hoping. We keep waiting. But as we realize, day after day, that our salvation has not arrived, we start to go deeper into our darkness. We succumb to our rage, anxiety and desperation. We dream to exit this northern hemisphere and go far and away to a tropical bliss, to warm sand, to salty ocean and heal our souls from this cold misery.
